Product Description

When emergency lighting coverage needs to reach farther, the Billda 20W steps up. Beyond LED Technology's 20W emergency LED driver retrofits into existing panels, troffers, downlights, and high bay fixtures — no fixture replacement, no rewiring. It sustains a minimum 90 minutes of backup illumination across a 100–347VAC input range, covering standard and high-voltage commercial circuits equally. The maintenance-free Ni-MH battery carries a 5-year life expectancy, protected against over-voltage, low-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit conditions. UL 924 listed, CSA C22.2 No.141 certified, RoHS compliant, and CEC Title 20 rated for California compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before specifying Billda | Emergency LED Driver into a lighting project.

Why choose the 20W Billda over the 15W for certain installations?+
Higher output wattage sustains brighter emergency illumination across larger fixture types or spaces where 15W output falls below minimum foot-candle requirements. High bay fixtures and open commercial spaces benefit most from the additional output.
How does field installation work on existing fixtures?+
The Billda mounts inside the existing fixture housing and connects to the LED driver circuit — no structural modification or fixture replacement needed. It is UL 924 listed specifically for field installation, which satisfies most AHJ requirements.
What does CEC Title 20 compliance mean for California projects?+
CEC Title 20 sets minimum energy efficiency standards for certain products sold in California. Compliance means the Billda 20W meets state efficiency requirements, allowing it to be specified on California commercial and institutional projects without exemption requests.
How is battery health maintained over the 5-year service life?+
The maintenance-free Ni-MH battery requires no fluid checks or manual conditioning. Built-in protections against over-voltage, low-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit handle fault conditions automatically throughout the rated service life.
Is the Billda 20W suitable for healthcare and institutional emergency lighting?+
Yes. UL 924 listing, CSA certification, and CEC Title 20 compliance cover the regulatory requirements common in healthcare, education, and government facilities where emergency lighting specifications are closely reviewed by inspectors.
Does Beyond LED Technology offer trade pricing on emergency driver specifications?+
Approved trade partners through Beyond LED Technology's Trade Partner Program receive factory-direct trade pricing and dedicated account support — particularly valuable when specifying emergency drivers across multi-floor or campus-scale commercial projects.
